1. Our Commitment to Intellectual Property

2. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe material on genkicourses.com infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent below. To be effective, your notice must include:

• A physical or electronic signature of the person authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed (or a representative list, if multiple)
• Identification of the allegedly infringing material, including its URL or other information sufficient for us to locate it
• Sufficient contact information, including a valid email address
• A statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf

Email gets the fastest response. We typically review valid notices within 1–2 business days.

4. Our Response

Upon receiving a notice that meets the above requirements, we will:

• Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material where appropriate
• Notify any responsible party where applicable
• Take reasonable steps to prevent re-uploading of the same material
• Terminate accounts of repeat infringers where appropriate

5. Counter-Notices

If you believe your material was removed in error or through misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice including:

• Your physical or electronic signature
• Identification of the removed material and its location before removal
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, of good-faith belief that removal was a mistake or misidentification
• Your name, address, phone number, and email address
• A statement consenting to jurisdiction — the courts of your judicial district, or, if outside the United States, the courts of England and Wales — and agreeing to accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice

Send counter-notices to the same address as Section 3.

6. Misrepresentations

Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, you may be liable for damages — including costs and attorneys’ fees — for knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing, or that its removal was a mistake. We recommend consulting a lawyer before submitting a notice or counter-notice.

7. Repeat Infringer Policy

At our discretion, we will terminate accounts of users determined to be repeat infringers.
